On 29 January 2015, Transport Trade Services S.A (TTS) and Constanta Port Authority have organised a special supply-demand analysis seminar as part of the LNG Masterplan project.

On 9 February 2015, in Dunajska Streda - Slovakia, Danube LNG EEIG, hosted the premiere of a LNG fuelled bus, SOLBUS SM 12 where practical demonstrations of the operation of an LNG fueled bus were performed.

The Port of Rotterdam is the European import, (re)export and regasification hub for Liquefied Natural Gas. Since 2011 LNG-tankers can transship their cargo to three storage tanks at the Gate terminal.

MS Sirocco launch

On 28 May 2014, Chemgas Barging S.a.r.l officially launched  the newly developed LNG propelled conventional type G tanker, MS Sirocco, which was developed within the LNG Masterplan for Rhine-Main-Danube.

At this press conference organised on 27 May 2014 took part both project coordinators, Mr Manfred Seitz and Mr Nico van Dooren, as well as Mr Alexandru Capatu, Pro Danube's President and the reprezentatives of two project partners, Mr Constantatin Hartan and Mr Silviu Meterna.

After the construction of the LNG-tank has been completed, the Eiger picks up the tank in Alphen and is heading off to the shipyard where the actual refit of the Eiger-Nordwand will be started.
