LNG Masterplan project partner Maritime Danube Ports Administration Galati (APDM Galati) participated between 5 and 8 May 2015 at the international Transport Logistic 2015 event in Munich. Transport Logistic 2015 exhibition is organized every two years and is considered to be the most important platform for logistics and transport industry at European and global level, addressing in a comprehensive manner most important issues affecting the industry today on one hand, and the potential of innovation in the field, on the other hand. The members of the delegation provided information about the LNG Masterplan project to the interested parties and pointed out that the port of Galati presents great investment opportunities for developing a LNG terminal. At the moment, the Port of Galati is not operating LNG facilities, but based on the preliminary feasibility study the LNG terminal would serve an important hinterland in south-eastern Romania and in the 2014-2020 funding period necessary steps will be taken to achieve such a terminal.
